Treatment steps

1. Preparation:

Prior to the procedure of oocyte preservation, you are required to have a detailed consultation, undergo a gynecological examination and provide us with your hormone analysis and blood tests (infectious disease screening).

2. Ovarian stimulation:

A specific hormonal treatment will stimulate your ovaries to induce the maturation of several follicles. The follicular growth will be monitored by ultrasound to determine the optimum time for the egg retrieval procedure.

3. Egg retrieval:

The eggs are retrieved by means of a trans-vaginal, ultrasound-guided puncture. This procedure is rather short and will be performed under sedation.

4. Egg freezing process:

The retrieved oocytes will be cryopreservated using the egg-freezing technique “Vitrisafe” that has been developed and patented by us. This new technique involves the freezing and storing of the oocytes at a temperature of less than -190 ° C.
