Freezing and storage of oocytes

Oocytes are very delicate and thus their preservation requires a special freezing technique.

The egg-freezing technique “VitriSafe” that has been developed
and patented by us makes it possible to gently cryopreserve egg cells.

The oocytes are stored at a temperature of less than -190 ° C
and therefore their storage life is - in theory - unlimited.

The oocytes are stored in special freezing containers
filled with liquid nitrogen until the woman is ready to use them.


You have the opportunity to decide on the right moment to have your eggs fertilized at a later stage. In Switzerland, subsequent fertilization currently has to be performed within 5 years and may be carried out only on account of medical indications. Therapy cannot be offered after the menopause.
